Save the Date for our VIRTUAL Event
Saturday, February 20, 2021, 6-9pm CST

We’re going VIRTUAL: With COVID numbers climbing, it's too scary for us to responsibly host our outdoor drive-in but never fear! We’ve decided to host our first ALL-VIRTUAL American Advertising Awards event you can attend from the safety of your couch, with hopes for an in-person event later this year.

We still have some thrills and chills up our sleeve - this ain't gonna be your average Zoom!  Get ready for celebrity appearances, boos, and booze. Choose an option to add a gift card and support some of the best restaurants Memphis has to offer (Chef Kelly English, Chef Tam, and Chefs Andrew and Michael? OH MY!) and imbibe your own custom cocktail tailored just for us by mixologist Morgan McKinney, who will lead us in a virtual cocktail tutorial to add a bit of flavor to the evening. And keep an eye out for surprise special guests - you might recognize some of the award-givers.

A portion of proceeds from all tickets sold will benefit the Welcome to Memphis COVID-19 fund.

How Leagues & Teams Partner with Sports Betting Operators

Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM (Past Event)

Whether you were born a rambling (#AllmanBrothers) or gambling (#BobSeger) (wo)man, a lot has changed in the gaming landscape over the last few decades. Online sports betting came on the scene in 1996 soon after the early online casinos made their debut; it was a slow ascent. But now, with the advent of FanDuel and other online sports gambling apps, it’s easy for anyone to place their bets! But what does it take to make a winning Sportsbook and a winning sports betting partnership?

Find out at our next luncheon, Thursday, January 21 at 12pm! (A free, BYOL virtual event!)

Join AAF Memphis, other marketers and sports fans as Clifton (Clif) Ma, VP of Strategic Partnerships at FanDuel, tells all at this sports betting, marketing and partnerships discussion. Clif oversees sports team and league partnerships related to fantasy sports and sports betting, including partnerships with the NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB, PGA TOUR, and the Memphis Grizzlies. Prior to joining FanDuel in 2015, Clif was the Head of Fantasy Sports at Yahoo and a Board Member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. He holds a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
