November Luncheon: Moving People with Moving Images with Filmmaker Zia Anger
November 1 · 11:30 am · Halloran Center
Storytelling. It’s at the heart of what we do. And Zia Anger knows a thing or two about storytelling — and how deviating from traditional storytelling can capture and inspire an audience. During this luncheon, held in partnership with Indie Memphis Film Fest, Zia will trace her career, from creating traditional narrative films, to music videos, to interactive performance art. And will weigh the role of a passive viewer versus an active viewer. Check out some of Zia’s short films here!
