Overview and Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison between news media and the Company and supports other Corporate Communications activities through strategic planning, strategy and tactical development, research and evaluation. Performs other duties as assigned.
■ Three years of public relations experience in any of the following areas: media relations, issues management, crisis communications, and/or strategic communications planning.
■ Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, communications or related field.
■ Knowledge of Associated Press style.
■ Media training or coaching (one-on-one or group), writing talking points, communicating using social media tools.
■ Strong written and oral communications skills required.

MEMPHIS, TN—AAF Memphis presented its 52nd annual American Advertising Awards for creative excellence on Saturday, February 23 at the Tower Room in Clark Tower in East Memphis.
Attended by over 300 professionals from local advertising, marketing, graphic design, and media companies, the event honored 54 Gold ADDY winners, 55 Silver ADDY winners, and 7 recipients of “Best Of” awards.
A total of 473 entries were judged by creative directors from Denver, Atlanta and San Francisco.
“I had a great time in Memphis. Really. Completely honored you had me. The club should be very proud of the level of work that was in the show,” said Atlanta judge, Silver Cuellar, Associate Creative Director, Brunner. “I’m still quite impressed with the strength in design overall.”
“I am always amazed at the talent and creativity we have in Memphis and this year did not disappoint. The level of commitment our advertising community has to excellence is unmatched for our local chapter of the American Advertising Federation,” said AAF Memphis President Amy Hughes, Director of Sales at Entercom.
Writes, proofreads and edits communications materials for all entities affiliated with BMHCC by following departmental protocols and interacting with manager to ensure accurate and consistent exposure of BMHCC and affiliates to the public. Performs other duties as assigned.
■ Bachelor's degree in English, writing, advertising, or a related field required, Master's preferred.
■ 5 years of copywriting experience required.
■ Must have strong written and oral communications skills.
■ Editing and proofreading skills and an appreciation of corporate communications activities required.
■ Advertising agency experience preferred.
■ Experience with creating style sheets desired.

Senior Marketing Coordinator for Baptist Memorial Health Care-
Identifies, develops and implements strategic marketing programs for key target audiences for designated service lines, facilities and initiatives for Baptist Memorial Health Care. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field required.
